The property at Sihlstrasse 34 was built between 1971 and 1973. The building will be completely renovated and converted from a department store to office use on the 1st floor up to the top floor. Retail use is planned for the ground floor and 1st basement. The existing concrete façade will be adapted and fitted with eyrise® s350 dynamic solar shading thermal insulation glass. The entire building services HVAC and electrical installations will be replaced and designed for the new flexible use. The conversion of the department stores' will be realised in accordance with the DGNB Gold sustainability label standard.
